International Education Week 2024

International Education Week will take place from November 18-22, 2024

International Education Week (IEW), an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and richness of our campus community will be held November 18-22, 2024. Come join us in many programs and events from learning the basics of pronouncing names of different cultures, to learning about the immigration issues post-graduation for international students, to enjoying snacks and drinks from all over the world, to discussing immigration issues, and to equipping yourself with knowledge and skills to better work with international students.

US employers and international students are often confused about the work visa options available to allow graduates of US universities to stay and work in the US. In this webinar, immigration attorney Mark Rhoads will provide a summary of the most common work visa options, including F-1 OPT and H1B. He will discuss the costs and timing of work visa processing, as well as the H1B quota and the H1B "lottery." There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
