Al Dur Almaknoon bint Salim Abdullah Al Rawas

Al Dur is a Cyber Security Engineering undergraduate student from the Sultanate of Oman. From a young age, she is fond of technology and became more passionate about cyber security. After graduating as one of the best in her high school class, Al Dur received a full scholarship for her undergraduate studies.

Al Dur transferred to Mason from the University of South Florida, where she was involved with the Google Developer Student Club (GDCS) as the technical lead.

As an active member of her high school and former university, she aims to be an active member of the Mason community by helping enhance the fellowship of her fellow Patriots.

 

Hawazin Alshammari

Hawazin is an undergraduate student majoring in Bioengineering with a concentration in Health Care Informatics from Saudi Arabia.

From a young age, she started moving around the world and enjoyed learning about the cultures of the places she lived in. Hawazin also loves reading during her free time.

She is passionate about helping other international students at Mason.

Jing Chen

Jing is a Mason alumna from China who graduated with her master’s degree in Arts Management in December 2018. She is currently working as a marketing and communications specialist for INTO Mason. She is passionate about promoting Mason to and serving international students because she believes Mason is a great choice for international students.

Maya Didier

Maya is an INTO Graduate Pathway student pursuing MS in Accounting from France. She arrived in the United States as an au pair two years ago. During these two years away from home, she learned a lot about herself such as taking care of herself through yoga. She is glad to share her own experiences and help other international students integrate easily.

Mohammadreza Fasihi

Mohammadreza is a Doctoral student in the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) from Afghanistan. Although his major is Electrical Engineering, he has many years of experience in web development and IT. He is a faculty member of the Computer Science Faculty at Kateb University in his home country. He is passionate about becoming more familiar with different cultures and traditions and supporting the new international student. His favorite activities are hiking, soccer, tennis, and gaming.

Meet Gandhi

Meet is a graduate student majoring in Computer Science from India. He is currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science. He would like to help students during their stay at George Mason University.

Mansi Jadon

Mansi is a sophomore student majoring in Information Technology and Marketing from India. She is passionate about her major and loves supporting the new freshmen students through their first year. She currently works as a Multimedia Marketing Intern at Mason Dining; a Video content Creator at George Mason's Office of Business and Operations and she is also an Influencer with ShopMason on campus. She loves to cook, listen to Bollywood music, engage in outdoor activities and runs a successful animal charity back in her home country.

Rajeep Karki

Rajeep is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science from Germany. He was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. During his free time, he enjoys playing tennis or watching TV shows. He is delighted to be part of ISAB for A.Y. 2022-2023 and is delighted to work for the benefit of Mason international students.

Ha Le (Ali)

Ali is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science from Viet Nam. She aspires to create platforms as well as technical products that could positively influence people’s daily lives. In her free time, she enjoys making ceramics, playing ping pong, and practicing tennis. Actively, Ali aims to improve the experiences and seek opportunities for international students at Mason.

Amy Ozigi

Amy is an undergraduate student majoring in Biology from Nigeria. She is interested in leadership and in helping international students navigate Mason campuses. She loves to volunteer and is actively involved in several groups and organizations on campus. Amy enjoys traveling and watching movies.

Chotanasak Seksam

Chotanasak is an undergraduate international student majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) and minoring in Economics from Cambodia. He left his home country to finish high school in Canada and transferred to George Mason University. He is delighted to help fellow international students. 

Chenqi Shi

Chenqi is a Master’s student studying Peace and Conflict Resolution from China. He is currently working as a librarian at the John Burton Library under the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. Chenqi is currently the President of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association. He is glad to have the opportunity to serve as an ISAB member and share his experience with the Mason community and help students achieve their goals at the University.
